The CISS Inventory Pro / Deltek Vision Integration project involved building a bridge to stream data between two different systems.

In this situation, the client’s needs outgrew the application they had installed in such a way that it required the installation of an entirely new application to meet these new requirements. The new application required double-entry of information because the two systems didn’t share a common database. The challenge was to enable these two applications from two different vendors to share data seamlessly in a unidirectional manner. The solution was to create a shunt by which a user may enter data into one application and the system will automatically stream that data through the cloud to the other application, keeping the two in sync and allowing the client to work with the applications rather than work around them.
